	Latest News Godzilla's Trunk EXHIBIT presented by the Ishirō Honda Memorial Foundation Some of Ishirō Honda's personal belongings, mainly featuring the contents of "Ino-san's Trunk" as seen in the recent NHK documentary, will be on public display for a limited time. < WHEN > February 28th - March 31, 2013 1:00pm - 5:00pm Ryūji Honda will hold a talk show (with guest speakers) on Sundays and holidays from 5:00pm < WHERE > Actors Station Building 1st fl. 1-55-3 Nakano, Nakano-ku, Tokyo Japan (JR Chūō line・Sōbu line, Tokyo Metro Tōzai line - Nakano station South exit) < WHAT > This is an exhibition of Honda's personal documents and mementos found in a trunk filled with things he had kept over the years since his time spent out at war. The trunk never was re-opened by Honda before his passing.  The contents include photos, his diaries, and letters he had received out at war from friends, his wife, and his best friend Akira Kurosawa.  The exhibit will also showcase sketches drawn by Honda from Kurosawa projects he worked on in his later years, scripts used by the director, screenings of interview footage, talk shows with guest speakers, as well as sales of limited edition exhibit pamphlets. The Ishirō Honda Memorial Foundation will also be welcoming donations at the venue towards building an Ishirō Honda Monument at the Yudonosan Chūrenji temple in Yamagata Prefecture where Honda was born and raised.  Donations start at \3,000.  Names of donors contributing more than \30,000 will be engraved on the monument.  All contributions are greatly appreciated.  January 14, 2013 (10:00am) "Godzilla" (1954) will be shown at the 6th Kōtō Cinema Festival at the Furuishiba Bunka Center in Kōtō-ku, Tōkyō.
