This film was an opportunity for Ishiro Honda to realize his dream of making a documentary-like film and to express his love of nature. This is a film which showcases both the love and hatred between human beings, following the story of the victims of a landslide which is caused by the unrestrained development of natural areas. The main character is a researcher who is studying the effects of development on the mechanisms of nature.
